Iso 2 can be seen in this view. It is less dampened than Iso 1. It is perfect for isolating any tightly mic’d instrument. A guitar or bass amp fit perfectly. The Iso can also serve as a vocal booth.

Sony XBR 42″ Display

The original design of the control room provided for two 24″ Cinema Displays. This dramatically impaired the vision between control room and studio. The solution we settled on was to recess the lower 27″ cinema display and use a large LCD display above the control room window. I love the solution for two reasons. First, the entire glass window is unobstructed, providing for a more intimate relationship between the control room and studio. Apple has certainly changed music and video production. Even the iPad is being used professionally. V-Control is a powerful iPad application that allows for complete control over Pro-Tools. Since the iPad is Wi-Fi, PT control is completely wireless now.
